Project 51 Rider Mentors
As a new rider with limited experience in, this what can sometimes seem a complicated sport, It's handy to have experienced riders who are willing to pass on their experience to you. We have a number of rider mentors who are on hand to do just this. Why put yourself in the position of having to make all the usual mistakes, when you could have someone willing to pass on advice to help shorten the trial and error process.
Dan Gardner (Miba Baguet)
Dan is currently based in Belgium with Pro team Tarteletto. Dan has been working with Project 51 for the last 8 years and has been a Pro in both the USA and Belgium.
Olly Moors (VDM)
Olly is currently spends his racing season in Belgium. Olly has been with Project 51 since he was a junior. He has also raced at Pro level in the USA. He is currently doing a sports science degree.
Adam Cotterell (Project 51)
Adam is by far our most experienced rider. He has worked with Project 51 since his early serious days as a first year U23. Adam has raced at UCI international level all over Europe and has spent seasons based in Belgium and Italy. Adam now juggles his racing with a full time job in the UK after finishing his university studies.
Dani Christmas (Lotto Soudal)
Dani is currently a Pro rider with Lotto Soudal. She has also raced Pro in Spain and amateur in Holland, Belgium and the UK. Dani is a former international runner who turned to cycling due to serious injury and has worked with Project 51 since that point.
Izzy Stone (Isorex No Aqua)
Izzy is a second year U23 rider who has progressed rapidly with the Belgian peleton. She has been with Project 51 since turning junior and been a force within continental racing since. Izzy is the ideal mentor for young riders.
